PYP Art Integration...

Kindergarten

A group friendship project using painting and collaging was created to explore the PYP unit “Me and My Friends”.

 Grade 2

Grade two art projects were linked to the PYP unit ‘What is a Hero’?  Students made original collage puppets using various media and presented these at the Fabulous Friday assembly.

Grade 4

Grade four students where inspired by the surrealist artist “Magritte” to create an original painting of “If…” using oil pastels on hand made paper.

If tree branches were arms

If leaves were fish

If the sun was a sunflower

If an elephant's trunk was a shower
