Dear ISSEA Athletes:

On behalf of Harare International School and our community, I welcome you to the 7^th ISSEA Tournament, this time for Basketball.  While I wish each of the athletes and teams all the best in what is intended to be a highly competitive tournament, I would also remind you that ISSEA was conceived of as placing equal emphasis on good sportsmanship and cooperation among our schools.  Hopefully, each of your will embody and demonstrate the founding ideals and well-roundedness expected of an ISSEA athlete.

As the Director of HIS ultimately in charge of the tournament and responsible for the participating athletes, I look forward to a tournament characterized by positive and respectful behavior and adherence to the rules set by ISSEA and this school.  The host families have kindly agreed to house, feed and transport you, and their kindness should be respected and returned. 

I look forward to meeting you during your stay and watching all of you on the court.  Good luck and enjoy your stay.
